ParkAlert is an AI-powered parking sign interpretation tool designed to help users understand parking regulations. The App:
- Analyzes photos of parking signs using AI technology
- Provides interpretations of parking rules and restrictions
- Offers parking timer functionality with location-based reminders
- Displays contextual information based on user settings such as vehicle type and disability permit status
User Responsibilities
By using ParkAlert, you agree to:
- Acceptable Use: Use the App lawfully and not misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to interfere with the service
- Compliance: Remain solely responsible for complying with all local parking laws and regulations
- Physical Verification: Always read and verify physical parking signage before making parking decisions
- Permissions: Grant the permissions needed for the App to function properly where you choose to use those features
Disclaimer & Limitations of Liability
The developers accept no liability for:
- Fines, penalties, towing, or other losses resulting from parking decisions made using the App
- Inaccuracies in AI interpretations caused by lighting, obstructions, multiple signs, temporary signage, or regional variations
- Service interruptions, errors, outages, or technical issues
- Loss of data or inability to access the App

Service Availability
- Uptime: We aim to provide reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability
- Maintenance: Access may be interrupted for updates, maintenance, or unforeseen technical issues
- Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access in cases of abuse, security concerns, or breach of these Terms
AI Data Accuracy
AI interpretation of parking signs is probabilistic and may contain errors. Factors affecting accuracy include:
- Poor image quality or low lighting
- Obstructions or damage affecting signage visibility
- Multiple overlapping signs or temporary notices
- Regional legal nuances or changing local enforcement practices
Payments and Subscriptions
If ParkAlert offers paid upgrades or subscriptions, those transactions are handled through the relevant app store platform. We do not directly process or store payment card details.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
